I found a treasure in Maiduguri amidts the unrest going on in the state: Chinenye Sobowale
The romantic journey of Chinenye Sobowale started after she received her NYSC (National Youth Service Corps) call-up letter stating Maiduguri as her primary place of assignment.
Chinenye speaking with Giditalk interviewer:
"I am so happy i summoned the courage to resume at Maiduguri. At first, i was so reluctant but then i prayed about it and the Lord told me to go ahead.
My family members weren't totally in agreement with me traveling down to the North as I haven't traveled that far before, coupled with the numerous unrest going on in the state presently. We all prayed over it and we agree it was what the Lord wanted. Quite a number of people redeployed, I can’t blame them for their fears, it was obvious."
Chinenye was asked if she had ever imagined marrying anyone from the northern part of the country:
"No i have never seen myself marrying from the north, and to be honest i am still very much surprised how it all happened. I am a key ambassador of God's plan, Let his will and plans for my life be fulfilled, and besides, we are all the same in his sight. He created every one of us, whenever I'm having an unusual thought about it all i do is say to myself, what if I was the one born there? That changes my thought anytime it comes. All that matters to me is that I was sure it was God leading me there."
Our interviewer became curious and ask her how she met her "treasure":
"It's a long story but the summary of it all is we met at the chapel i attended. When he walked up to me, I wasn't expecting it, and you know the way we ladies react when a random guy just walks up to you after you've made up your mind all you wanted to do was to finish with my NYSC and leave for your house. "oga talk make we hear wetin you wan talk i wan dey go" I was saying all that in my mind. After series of follow-ups from him, I told him i was going to pray about it, and just when i prayed i got my answer, and as you can see this is where we are gloriously together forever."
Chinenye who will be married to the Bakut family this week says she's grateful to God for bringing Jacob(Husband) her way.
CJunion'21 as the wedding is tagged will be coming up on Thursday 22nd of July 2021.
