Former first lady Victoria Aguiyi-Ironsi dies at 97

  Wife of late Nigerian Military Head of State, Major General J.T.U. Aguiyi-Ironsi, Victoria, is dead. The former First Lady died peacefully on Monday morning, August 23 at the age of 97. She would have been 98 on November 21, 2021. Her husband, and the Supreme Commander of the National Military Government, was killed on July 29, 1966. Chief Mrs. Victoria Aguiyi-Ironsi never re-married.

The family of Abuja chef, Emeka Eloagu, release a statement concerning his death


The family of Abuja chef, Emeka Eloagu, who was found dead in his Katampe house in the Federal Capital Territory, has released an official statement announcing his passing. 

Emeka, who was popular for his exceptional culinary skills, was found dead in controversial circumstances in his home in Abuja last Sunday, August 1.

In the statement released, his family asked friends, well-wishers, and the general public to allow the police to conclude their investigations so that everyone can have a clear picture of what happened to Eloagu.
